Hilary Clinton endorses Barack Obama

Hilary Clinton endorses Barack Obama and says the democrats need to put all their strength behind him to get him elected as the next President of the US.

After saying that her supporters need to help Barack Obama get elected as the President, she then talks about the barriers that women still face implying that this may have affected her success. She says that this time the highest glass ceiling could not be broken but it has been cracked.

Hilary at first makes no decisions but then finally decides to formally end her marathon bid to become the United States' first woman president. She will use a party for campaign staff and supporters to suspend her 16-month campaign to become the Democratic Party's nominee.
She is expected to throw both her election machinery and support behind nominee Barack Obama.

Will Hilary ride on Barack's Bus?

Illinois senator Barack Obama has effectively clinched the Democratic nomination according to the Associated Press, having won enough superdelegate commitments to put him over the edge after the polls close in two final states tonight. Meanwhile, Clinton told New York politicians today that she would be willing to join Obama's ticket as the vice presidential candidate, the AP reported. An AP tally of the Democratic party insiders and elected officials, which includes some who have not publicly declared their commitments, shows Obama becoming the first black candidate to win the presidential nomination of a major US political party.
